In recent years, environmentalism has moved away from the fringe and toward middle stage as a global movement. Companies all over the country are taking action by strategically decreasing their global foot print. Turning green can bolster the bottom line.

We are genuinely interested in working to develop a green fountain, and are in the process of researching and conceptualizing more responsible methods of design and production. By analyzing our current material choices, product assemblies, water filtration systems, and supply chain efforts, we are able to set future goals. Our efforts in dematerialization of product assemblies, animal sensitive filtration sytems, and efficient supply chain procedures are the beginning steps to thinking about the world around our fountains.

Hobbs has recently introduced an Ozone Filtration System to its product line. This system produces and releases Oxygen 3 molecules into the water. Oxygen 3 is a very unstable form of Oxygen that has oxidations qualities. The molecules quickly attach to debris in the water and return to a stable form.

This system filters water at an atomic level, and eliminates the need to chemically treat water features. Because ozone filters sanatize water so efficiently and naturally, plants and animals are able to live in ozone treated waters. Currently, ozone filters are of the highest quality in the filter market, and do not produce byproducts such as soiled filter cartridges or sand debris.
