Custom Rippler Effects
HOBBS Custom Rippler Bars produce a "rippling" effect on the surface of the water. Located just beneath the surface (3" +/-), a series of small bore, adjustable clearstream jets are mounted on a copper tube to your specification. Typically used are 3/16" orifce jets, spaced 6" apart, at 2 GPM per jet. When activated, these jets agitate the water and create a current or ripple action on the surface, which is excellent in quiet, intimate settings where understatement is of the essence. Underwater lighting provides breathtaking patterns on surround surfaces, dancing and shimmering with the action of the water. Ripplers have also been used for special effects, such as to create the illusion of motion or in an aquatic garden when a current is essential but splash and noise is not desired. Like the "spray Series", the "Rippler Series" can be custom-made to fit any application. The copper tubing can be shaped to any configuration to fit your needs.
