253-Series Stainless Steel Overflow
The HOBBS 253-Series is a stainless steel cast-in-place overflow drain that provides overflow protection for the fountain. One fitting for every 350 sq. ft. of surface area (with the centerline of the fitting positioned 1-1/2" above the maximum water level) is normally sufficient, unless extensive rain, drainage, or runoff from upper levels may be encountered. When used indoors, the fountain fill line should be 1-1/2" or smaller so as not to overload the flow capacity of the overflow if the fountain fill is left on. This fitting may also be utilized as a waterfall air-relief vent or a limited capacity equalizer fitting. |
