422-Series Junction Box
The HOBBS 422-Series Submersible Junction Box is designed for the connection of HOBBS submersible pumps, lights, and other cord-equipped electrical devices to conduit systems (120 volt applications). The standard 422-Series Junction Box is supplied with one 3/ 4" female N.P.T. bottom conduit entry for mounting onto a brass conduit (specify HOBBS #463-07 Electrical Slab Penetration) extending at least 2" above the pool floor. In addition, the unit is provided with four 1/2" side taps, (4) HOBBS #452-3231 Cord Seals, and (3) 1/2" plugs.

Cast bronze; neoprene cover gasket; stainless steel fasteners; internal ground screws; 18 cubic inch internal volume; (1) 3/4" N.P.T. bottom conduit tap; (4) 1/2" N.P.T. cord seal taps. Shipped with (3) 1/2" plugs and (4) HOBBS #452-3231 Cord Seals: constructed of black 'polyamide' with neoprene sealing grommets; designed to accomodate cord diameters of .24" to .47".
